The introductory programme of Discover Scuba is an unforgettable experience. You must be at least ten years old, but no special physical condition is required.It is a safe and fun way to enjoy a natural environment with abundant sea life, fish swimming around you against a multi-colored seascape of algae and animals of incredible shapes and forms.

The first step takes place in school, where we teach you a set of basic principles for the diving.Once at the diving site, you will practice first in

shallow waters where your feet reach the sea floor, and only when you are feeling comfortable we will proceed underwater. You will be accompanied at all times by an instructor who will guide and assist you along the way, for a dive of 35 to 45 minutes (depending on the person). Some of them have lasted 55 minutes!

Underwater, you will be able to easily identify brown, green and red algae, phanerogamae , sea urchins, sponges, starfish, and a wide variety of fishes: such as seabreams, scorpion fish, goby, gapers, damsel fish, and mediterranean barracuda.

The Baptism can be the first step to an Open Water PADI ( Professional Association of Diving Instructors ) course, and this first dive counts toward credit for the course. The price paid for the Baptism will be discounted from the course fee.
